If you were to fall into the lead part of a flash flood like this, you would almost certainly die. The fast-moving wall of water and debris would quickly envelop you, and the sheer weight of the sticks and mud would prevent you from being able to come up for air. You would drown in very short order.

Love my shake and it's picked up 1 small 2.something quake here in Australia, plus a few in New Zealand and others a bit further away. In a relatively quiet area but it picks up shooting at the local outdoor rifle range, and indoor range. Just started rock tumbling in the shed a few meters away and it picks that up as a slight increase in noise as well, at about 18hz for one tumbler and 20hz for the other Wish I had the 3D or 4D, but alas I just got the 1D for now.
